Career Counselling cell Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur.

The curricular inputs are immensely important for a student enrolled in University. But now with the change in scenario, especially in the era of globalization and competitive placements, not only the academic content but also information on career opportunities supplemented with active guidance has become equally significant to all concerned. Therefore, it was important to institutionalize this support to enhance the reach and scope of available opportunities for the students and prepare them for the future challenges. To implement the above, counselling support has been initiated through Career Counselling Cell in Pt Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur. Availability of relevant and accessible information coupled with professional guidance to utilize the same will result into better career achievements outsides the classrooms and help in the healthy progression of our students. The career counselling support that the University offers to its students will make them confident to perform better.

FUNCTIONS OF CAREER AND COUNCELLING CELLS

A. To collect information on job avenues and placements in different institutions and concerns       related to the courses that the university offers.             

B. To help the students in their educational and vocational planning.

C. To provides information on scholarships and fellowships in India and abroad.

D. To organise seminars and guidance workshops for informing students about the emerging employment trends and market needs.

 Interested persons may contact the Chairman or Committee Members between 02 pm to 05 pm from Monday to Friday.
